These nationally-accredited qualifications attract Australian Government funding for eligible workers .
Who might be interested in these courses?
- Employers who wish to update the skills and knowledge of their current members of staff with a view to increased productivity in the current economic climate
- Employers who are thinking of employing new staff
- People who are in the workforce and would like to hone their skills
- People wishing to receive recognition for the skills they have acquired during their career to date
Enrolment
Flexible, ongoing enrolments throughout the year
Qualification and duration
These nationally-accredited qualifications will be awarded when all units of competency have been satisfactorily completed.
Course delivery
Training in the workplace will be flexible and combine one-on-one, group or online support. Up-to-date, self-paced resources produced by Chisholm Publishing are available for each unit of competency.
Skills recognition
The skills and knowledge people have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences will be recognised. The Workplace Trainer will discuss skills recognition with each applicant.
Assessment
Evidence for assessment will be gathered from various sources which can include:
- workplace documentation relevant to this qualification
- workplace projects
- observation and demonstration of skills
- third party reports
- written assignments
- verbal – questions and answers
- portfolio etc.
