The beyondblue Victorian Centre of Excellence in Depression. Anxiety and Related Disorders: Call for applications for the 2010 research Funding Round.
The bbVCoE is now calling for applications for the 2010 research funding round of $1million. Funding is competitive and applicants should review the guidelines closely addressing the specific requirements and eligibility criteria. Applicants may apply for grants up to $125,000, or for collaborative grants up to $400,000 per project. Details of how to apply can be found on the website.
Submissions will only be considered if they are relevant to at least of one the 2010 bbVCoE research priorities and are aligned with beyondblue's strategic directions.
The 2010 bbVCoE research priorities are to inform and improve practice addressing depression, anxiety and related disorders by undertaking research into:
1. effective primary care, interventions and access for Aboriginal people experiencing depression and anxiety in rural and urban Victoria.
2. appropriate and effective primary care and interventions for same-sex attracted young people experiencing depression and anxiety in rural and urban Victoria.
3. workplace programs that aim to reduce the risk for relapse and facilitate a successful return to work for employees following an episode of depression, anxiety or a related disorder.
4. building on previously funded bbVCoE projects.
Multidisciplinary approaches and research collaborations are encouraged - and all applications must include consumer and carer participation. Please email for more information.
